Blog #4: Future of "Naturals" (V2)

The OTC products categories such as: energy &
sense of well-being (peace), are most appropriate
for natural products.

Because they are safe and have been proven to work
without harmful side effects.

OTC products categories such as headaches are
least appropriate for natural products. Simply
because, I have not found a natural OTC product
that removes headaches of any type like migraines.

There are not any barriers that keep me from using
more natural items. The fact that natural products
are not FDA regulated does not concern me.

I wish the could change the concept that, OTC
natural products are not as effective as conventional
OTC products.

Bayer: Their strengths are that they have the
resources to offer natural products. Their weakness
are replacing the drug aspirin. I think they have
some credibility.

Johnson & Johnson: Their strengths are they started
out as a family company. In my opinion that's caring.
Their weakness is that they became a big corporation.
They have credibility because, of their various products.

Pfizer: Their strengths are they have a huge economic
resources & smart employees to offer natural products.
Their weakness are discovering alternatives to all the
harmful drugs in their conventional products. At this
point, I don't think they have any credibility,
for natural products.

Claritin, One-A-Day, & Centrum are better suited
to evolving their products line to include natural products.

Claritin: There are herb based ingredients that can be
used in the allergy category.

One-A-Day: Being a company that offers dietary supplements,
is better suited to evolving to include natural products.

Centrum: Also, another company that offers dietary supplements
like vitamins, is better suited to evolving to include
natural products.

They all have the proven business model to bring products
to customers who want & needs them.

Aleve, Advil, Robitussin & Tylenol are less suited
to evolving their products line to include natural products.

Aleve: Because, product contains drugs like ibroprophen
that could be difficult to replace with natural ingredients.

Advil: Because, product contains active drug ingredients,
that could be hard to replace with natural ingredients.

Robitussin: Because, product contains active drug 
ingredients that could be difficult to replace with natural.

Tylenol: Because, drugs like acetaminophen,
that could be hard to replace with natural ingredients.

Dampo Throat Soother: I'm not interested in this
product because, I use a similar product already.
I like the idea of being all natural.

Iberogast Digestive Support: I'm interested in 

this product because, it uses 9 time tested extracts.

Euphytose Stress Support: I'm interested in this product,
because it's a product that makes you feel good.
I like the idea of a drug-free OTC product.

Euphytose Night: I'm not interested in this product
because, I don't have problems falling asleep.
I like the idea of lemon balm, passionflower & valerian root.

Phytodolor Pain Soother: I'm not interested in this product
because, I don't have minor joint or muscle pain. I like
the idea of a drug-free liquid.

If these brands were currently in other countries,
it would not affect my impressions of them. Because,
the brands are a great idea.

If these brands were brought to me by Bayer,
it would improve my impessions of them. Because,
they have the technology to improve products.

If these brands were brought to me by Pfizer,
it would improve my impressions of them. Because,

they have the resources to be all natural and safe.
